Tour de France stage and Green Jersey winner, Baden Cooke is proud to introduce the "Baden Cooke Tour of Israel". A cycling tour organized by him in the Holy Land, open to cyclists of all levels and will take place from the 2nd to the 7th of March, 2014.

Cooke (who is also known in the bunch as "Cookie") has recently retired from his magnificent cycling career. During his 14 years as a pro, he raced for some of the sport's greatest teams (among them: FDJ, Vacansoleil, Saxo-Bank and Orica-GreenEdge) and achieved victories and top-results in some of the world's most prestigious races.

Beyond his prominent cycling skills, the former sprinter and classic specialist, has made a name for himself as one of the sport's most colorful and charismatic characters.

Ready now to move on to the next phase in his life, Cookie has been searching for new adventures to partake in. His passion for cycling and his love for travelling the world, helped form in his mind the idea of creating a cycling tour of his own. One where he would be able to share his passion with cycling aficionados from all over the world.

Cookie, with the help of Genesis Cycling, designed the tour in such a way that it will no doubt provide each participant with the maximum pleasure and satisfaction of cycling in a new and unfamiliar country. Whether it's about the delicious local cuisine, the comfortable hotels, the adventurous cycling routes, the fabulous sightseeing of world famous sites in Israel such as the Dead Sea, or even the cold beer at the end of the day – Baden wants each rider to have a special personal experience during the trip, one full of wonderful memories that will surely last a life time.

Cookie together with the Genesis Cycling crew designed cycling routes that fit the highest professional standards. They have built a program suited for cyclists of all levels and one that provides a great personal and loyal support for every single one of the riders.
In his own words, Cookie best describes his vision: "I'm happy for the opportunity to get some great rides under the Israeli sun and to share some knowledge and experiences over a beer (or three) at the end of the rides. The tour is open to riders of all fitness levels and will cater for all abilities".

Cookie and Genesis Cycling invite you to join us on this exciting adventure and experience the Holy Land in a way you've never imagined possible….
